Who we are

TPK Live is run by Tangential PoliTiKing (The TPK Show), founded by Di Tang and Samuel Carvalho. Questions about this page go to email [at] tpk.show.

Visiting this site

• There are no ads, no trackers, no analytics and no cookies.
• Every page, font, picture and script comes from this site itself. Nothing loads from Google, social networks or anyone else while you read. The one exception is a video’s player, and only once you press play (see Videos, below).
• If you press the light or dark switch, your choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.
• Like any web server, ours sees the address a request comes from, the time and the page asked for while it sends you the page. We use that only to keep the site running and safe.

Videos

A video’s page shows the show’s own play button, and nothing comes from YouTube until you press it. Then YouTube’s player loads, in the privacy-enhanced mode YouTube offers (youtube-nocookie.com), which YouTube says keeps nothing about you unless you play the video. Once it plays, it’s like watching on YouTube, under YouTube’s and Google’s own privacy policy. The link under the player opens the video on YouTube instead.

Links to other sites

Headlines link to the outlets that published them. Trump’s posts link to Truth Social and to a public archive of his posts, or to X for the ones he posted there. A video’s sources and clips link to where they came from, and election results mostly to Wikipedia. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Opening a link tells them you came from this site, and nothing else about you.

The AI help

Newsdesk uses Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, to pick the day’s biggest stories and write their summaries, to help write each video’s title and the lines that introduce it, to name some of the topics on the Receipts page, and to find the candidates Trump endorses in his posts. Those words are marked Written with AI help, and the few election results Claude helped find say Found with AI help. The pages are made before you visit, so nothing you do here is ever sent to Claude or anyone else.

Children, and changes

This site isn’t meant for children under 13. It doesn’t collect anything about anyone, children included.
